Theater festivals and marathons are considered audacious enterprises even when attempted by big theater companies and big stars.

But a small theater company? Of volunteer actors? In Collingswood?

"It's crazy. It's a huge risk. There are a lot of different parts of this that are scary," said Carol Schwab, an actor, advisory board member and trustee for the Collingswood Shakespeare Company. "But it's also exhilarating. We're a part of something that pretty much no one else has done."

‘Nutcracka’ brings new beat to classic tale

This is the fourth holiday season that REMIX Theater has given a modern edge to a classic tale, and with about 120 dancers, this year's performance is expected to be should be bigger than ever.
